HSE Technician
- Implementation of OH&S management system based on OSHAS 18001-2007 standard. Develop procedures for the operation of the system, including OH&S policy, Procedures for Hazard identification, risk assessment and determining control and ets. Maintaining of the OH&S management system in compliance with Major Customers (Sakhalin Energy Investment Company LLC, Exxon Mobil, etc.) requirements.

- Conducting of internal training for various categories of workers. Development of the training programs and presentation.

- Organization and holding of weekly HSE meetings with the heads of departments.

- Organization of internal audits of OH&S management system includes completion of annual audit schedules, preparation of the audit plans. Preparation of the action plan for investigating nonconformities, determining their cause, developing of corrective actions and performance control.

- Development of Project HSE Plan for the construction of "Mendeleev GPP” (Geothermal power plant, Kunashir Island).

- Registration of hazardous production facilities in State Register; organization of operation of technical equipments in hazardous production facilities; registration and de-registration of lifting devices; development and agreement Production Control Program; organization of equipment inspections, development of equipment check lists. Training of company staff to the requirements of Rostechnadzor. Monitoring of lifting operations on the Company’s cargo lifting areas.

- Organization of fire safety for all Company's facilities. Making sure that the company meets the requirements of Russian Emergency Ministry, development and approval of Fire Safety Declaration. Development of Emergency Drilling Plans, organization of practical drillings, including oil spills, evacuation and fire extinctions. Development and approving in the Russian Emergency Ministry of the “Fire safety training programs” for various categories of workers. Providing fire safety trainings.

- Organization of preliminary and periodic medical examinations.

- Development of procedure for distribution and using of PPE.

- Preparation of the documents for tenders in field of HSE.

- Preparation of the annual budget for the costs in field of HSE.

- Interaction with State Authorities. Preparation of the company for inspections: making plan for inspection, control of implementation, representing the company during inspection.

- Preparation of summary reports in field of HSE to the Caterpillar office.

- Conducting of internal audits of Q&EMS management system, for compliance with international standards ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 14001-2004, making report.

Achievements:
- Implementation of the 100% TIE-OFF program against falls from height, including written procedures, trainings, using of removable hard barriers, monitoring of employee activities & ensure the use of Fall Protection devices.

- Implementation of the “Safe behavior program”, includes trainings presentation, HSE bulletin alert, Tool box talks, “Lessons Learned” from actual experiences, monthly meeting “safety hour” within the departments, and etc.

- Carrying out workplace attestation without the involvement of the specialized organizations.
